BMV-Approved Driver Safety Programs Since 2002

In the state of Indiana individuals convicted of two or more traffic offenses within a 12-month period may be required by state law to complete a Driver Safety Program that has been approved by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV). If you are under 21 years of age and you have been in two or more accidents, convicted of multiple traffic offenses, or a combination of the two you are required to complete a Driver Safety Program. To avoid having your driving privileges suspended you must complete your Driver Safety Program within 90 days of the BMV being notified of the convictions.

After the successful completion of a BMV-approved Driver Safety Program the BMV will apply a 4 point credit to your Indiana Official Driver Record. The following courses have been approved by the BMV since 2002 and offer DVD and online formats for completing your Drive Safety Program.
